Management Team

Dr. Kinneret Livnat-Savitzky is the CEO and board member of FutuRx Ltd.,

Kinneret has over 25 years of experience in senior leadership positions in the biopharmaceutical industry, including vast experience in different aspects of drug discovery and development, deal making and fund-raising.

Kinneret is a Director and Chairperson of the board of directors at a variety of biotech companies, and held director or chairperson position in a number of companies and organizations including Compugen Ltd. (NASDAQ:CGEN) , KAHR Medical, DreaMed Diabetes, Biomica, Nutritional Growth Solutions (NGS. AU),  Hadasit, Ramot, Tel Aviv University’s tech transfer arm and FutuRx and its portfolio companies.

Prior to joining FutuRx, Kinneret served as the CEO of BioLineRx, a biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology, where she previously served as General Manager of BioLine Innovations Jerusalem, a biotech incubator wholly-owned by BioLineRx and Vice President of Drug Development at BioLineRx. Before BioLineRx, Kinneret held the position of Vice President of Biology of Compugen Ltd., cancer immunotherapy company and a leader in predictive target discovery.

Dr. Livnat-Savitzky holds a PhD with distinction in Human Genetics from the Tel-Aviv University, a Master’s degree in human genetics from Tel Aviv University and B.Sc. in Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Leah Klapper is Chief Technology Officer of FutuRx. Leah has been leading research and development in biotech start-ups for 20 years focusing on the advancement of academic programs from discovery to clinical proof of concept.

Before joining FutuRx, Leah served as CSO of Regenovation Ltd., a company developing acellular novel materials for in-situ tissue regeneration.

Previously, Leah served as CSO of BioLineRx Ltd., a biopharmaceutical development company focused on oncology, as General Manager of Bioline Innovations Jerusalem; an innovative biotechnology incubator and as Vice President of Research and Development at CureTech Ltd., a company that developed novel immune-modulating molecules.

Leah gained her post-doctoral training at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle Washington in the fields of translational medicine and immune-therapeutics and holds a PhD in Immunology and Molecular Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot Israel.

Mr. Lior Teitelbaum, Chief Business Officer at FutuRx, is a healthcare executive experienced in Business Development, Strategy,  Licensing, Partnering, Portfolio Planning and Strategic Alliance Management in the Medical Technology, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. Prior to joining FutuRx, Lior was co-founder and VP Business Development of MindUP , Israel’s first digital health incubator created by IBM, Medtronic, Pitango and Rambam Medical center in collaboration with the Israel Innovation Authority. Prior to that Lior was Senior Director of Business Development at BioLineRx Ltd., a biopharmaceutical development company where he led in-licensing, portfolio management and the strategic partnership with Novartis Pharma. Previously, he held roles in the MedTech industry including Director of Business Development at MetaCure, a medical device company focusing on treatment of type 2 diabetes and Deal Flow and Business Development Manager at Elron Electronic Industries, a technology focused investment company. Lior holds an MBA from the Recanati School of management at Tel Aviv University and an MSc. with distinction in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Lior is a graduate of the IDF Chaman Talpiot program and served as a team leader at the 8200 Intelligence unit.

Galit has over 20 years of experience in various aspects of commercial, civil, IP law, litigation and mediation. Prior to joining FutuRx, Galit served, for more than 7 years, as legal counsel for Yeda R&D Ltd. (the TTO of the Weizmann Institute of Science). Before joining Yeda, Galit practiced commerce, IP and civil litigation at several leading Israeli law firms.

In 2012, Galit was elected to serve as a mediator under the Israeli Courts’  ADR program and she is an experienced mediator, highly successful in resolving varied commercial disputes by way of mediation.

Galit holds an MBA from the Israeli College of Management, and an LLB from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Prior to joining FutuRx, Ms. Kocshitzki served for 12 years at Teva Pharmaceutical Ltd. In various roles including Teva Global R&D CFO and Growth Market Commercial finance business partner.

Ms. Kocshitzki holds a Master’s degree in economics from Ben-Gurion University in the Negev, Israel.

Her expertise is in the areas of strategic and operational finance planning and analysis, specifically in pharmaceutical development from discovery stage, global clinical trials to product commercialization, operational optimization including forecasting, costing and evaluations.

Sigal Arad handles the Human Resource operation at FutuRx and its portfolio companies. She leads the HR strategy of the group, including establishing and applying policies, managing the recruitment and training process, handling the interface between FutuRx management and portfolio companies, and providing solutions to improve employees’ satisfaction.

Prior to joining FutuRx, Sigal worked for 9 years at YEDA Research and Development Ltd., the Technology Transfer Organization and the commercial arm of The Weizmann Institute of Science and over 6 years at several Embassies of Israel around the world.

Sigal holds a B.Ed. from The Kibbutzim College of Education and a graduation certificate from the Senior Human Resources program of Bar-Ilan University, Israel.

Dr. Inbal Michailovici is a Director of Business Development at FutuRx.

Before joining FutuRx, Inbal led the Hematology & New therapeutic areas at Medison Ventures. Her role included global Scouting, scientific and commercial evaluation of novel therapeutics, in-licensing, alliance management and investments.

Previously, Inbal served as a Business Development Manager at BiolineRx. Her role included tech evaluation and the company portfolio management.

Inbal holds a Ph.D. from the Weizmann institute in the field of signal transduction and embryonic muscle development.
